With Yongin Kim
Fee: $25.00 with preregistration; $30 drop-in
Winter is nature’s season of resting and the most “yin” time of the year. We are invited to slow down and replenish ourselves by resting and spending more time in self-reflection. Based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Taoist philosophy, this workshop will guide the practitioner to align with the natural cycle and flow of life through gentle qigong (cultivation of life-force energy) movements for the organ systems, also known as "acupuncture without the needles." Winter is associated with the Water Element in TCM, and is connected to the organs and meridians of the kidneys and the bladder. We will explore qigong movements and organ massage using our voices and the vibrations from the Himalayan singing bowls corresponding with the kidney vibrational frequency to prepare for this season of rest.
All levels are welcome. The gentle movements can be practiced seated as well.
Reserve a spot with Jan at email@example.com by Saturday, February 2 to receive the preregistration price.
